Your VA HealthCare Benefits
Will Cover In-Home Support Through the VA Community Care Network
How Does The VA CCN Work?
Veterans who are eligible for VA health care benefits may qualify for in-home supportive care at no cost to them. The VA partners with local community care providers, like Veteran Care Companions, to provide in home caregiving and supportive services. The VA will cover the cost of these services with no out-of-pocket expenses to the veteran.

Our professional and compassionate caregivers can assist the veteran with a variety of tasks such as

-
Light Housekeeping
-
Meal prep and cooking
-
Laundry Assistance
-
Personal grooming
-
Dressing Assistance
-
Showering or bathing
-
Toileting or incontinence care
-
Moving from one place to another
-
Getting to appointments
This program is also for Veterans who are isolated and could benefit from companionship and personal care assistance. Veterans who typically have family caregiving could also use this service for respite care, to allow their usual caregiver to take a vacation or simply time for rest.

The veteran will have to have a medical examination and assessment to determine the level of care needed. Some clients receive assistance a few hours per week, while others receive care every day.
